Vegan spicy lentil fritters that are perfect for your next late summer barbecue.
1 UNIT
red onion1 Pinch
Pepper1 UNIT
Spices (according to taste)1 cups
Red lentils1 UNIT
Garlic clove1 Pinch

Put lentils in a bowl and cover with plenty of water.
Step 2/5
Leave to soak for 2-3 hours or overnight.
Step 3/5
Drain water, rinse lentils and then puree with onion and garlic.
Step 4/5
Optionally add grated (vegan) cheese, herbs or fried onions to the mixture.
Step 5/5
Form the mass into balls and fry in a pan with oil until nice and crispy. Serve with salad, in a bowl or to take along for a picnic.
