Maltitol is a sugar alcohol that is harmless to health as long as you consume it in moderation - because maltitol still affects blood sugar levels and can have a laxative effect if consumed in large quantities. So you should not overdo it with the consumption of the chocolate protein bars.

Can I eat protein bars during pregnancy?

A moderate consumption of protein bars should also be safe during pregnancy. However, we are not experts in this field, so be sure to talk to your gynecologist about it!

Is the chocolate protein bar gluten-free?

Our Max Protein Bar is made only from ingredients that do not naturally contain gluten. However, unknowingly cross-contamination with grains may occur during production, which is why we do not label the bar as gluten-free.

Are the chocolate protein bars suitable for diabetics?

Our protein bars contain no added sugar: Cookie Dough flavored protein bars are sweetened with sweeteners such as maltitol. Eating foods that contain maltitol instead of refined sugar causes blood sugar levels to rise less after they are eaten than when eating foods sweetened with sugar. Maltitol nevertheless affects blood sugar levels and, when consumed in large quantities, can have a laxative effect. So you can buy as a diabetic:in these chocolate protein bars, we still generally advise to enjoy everything in moderation.

How often should I eat protein bars?

We recommend that you eat a protein bar every now and then after a workout, a maximum of one bar per day. In case of excessive consumption, it can have a laxative effect due to the sweeteners it contains.

How do I store the chocolate cookie protein bars and how long do they keep?

You should store the protein bars in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. There they can be stored in the original packaging for at least 12 months. For the ultimate freshness kick in summer, you can also store the chocolate protein bars in the refrigerator and enjoy them chilled.
