Guacamole - Mexican avocado dip

Baking / Cooking time:

5 minutes

We'll show you how to conjure up a fantastic avocado dip in no time at all! Guacamole - the Mexican classic among dips consists mainly of the flesh of the avocado. It has been one of the most popular fruits for several years and is the basis for this delicious dip!

Ingredients for
1 Units
Avocado
1 Units
Lemon or lime
0.5 Units
Onion
1 Units
Garlic clove
0 some
Pine nuts

Step 1/4

First, finely chop the onion, garlic and sun-dried tomatoes.

Step 2/4

Then cut the avocado in half and scoop out the flesh. Place the avocado flesh in a bowl and drizzle lemon juice over it. As with other fruits, the lemon juice prevents discoloration and adds a subtle acidity. You can then mash the fruit with a fork.

Step 3/4

Now you should stir in the onion and garlic and season to taste with spices. At this point, we also recommend grating in some lemon zest (organic quality) to give the guacamole a delicious citrus note.

Step 4/4

To round off the flavor of the guacamole, add the sun-dried tomatoes and stir in. Pine nuts are also a great way to spice up the guacamole!
