A colony of hamsters lives in a cosy den under a magnificent cornfield. Every day, these cute rodents fill their bellies with plenty of maize. You would think they have everything you need for a happy hamster life. But the hamsters are unhappy. Every day they complain about the dull daily routine and the same old corn. This has been going on for ages, but no one changes anything - until little Fridolin finally summons up all his courage and leaves the well-protected den! Completely beside themselves, the hamsters gather the next day in front of the crunchy jumbo kernels until the bravest dares to nibble on a kernel. From that moment on, the hamsters' lives change. They look forward to the roasted corn snack on their menu every day and enjoy the full-bodied taste of corn with honey.

We use special roasted maize for our honey corn kernels, which we roast with vegetable oil and refine with honey. Not all corn can be roasted. Our corn has specific properties that make it suitable for roasting: the husky texture of the kernels ensures that the kernels don't pop like popcorn, but expand to about twice their size.
