Our dried pineapple solves both these problems, as we dry the fruit only once it is ripe and sweet, and of course you just need to grab a bite-size piece from the bag instead of fighting with a spiky shell. How can you resist these juicy-looking, golden chunks of heaven? Well, just don't! Pineapple is part of the family Bromeliaceae and is indigenous to South America, even though, due to its popularity, it is now grown in many areas with a Tropical climate.
