Radish ABC: the different types

Just like kohlrabi and broccoli, radishes belong to the cruciferous family. This may not be real news to you, but there are actually quite a few different varieties of radishes to choose from. Just to name a few: The Rambo variety, as its name suggests, has a hot and spicy flavour, while Michelangelo starts out medium hot and becomes hotter as you chew. Our radish seeds have the wonderful name China Rose and are a milder sprout variety. The longer the germination time, the milder they become and are therefore also suitable for children.

Sprouting made easy: organic radish seeds

Here are the instructions for success: first soak the seeds for 8 hours, then pour off the water and put the seeds in a sprouting jar. The small seeds will take 7-10 days to grow into tasty sprouts. The sprouting jar should be placed at room temperature and not exposed to direct sunlight. Rinse the sprouts several times a day during this time.
