Hummus powder without tahini?

Hummus is usually made from chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, olive oil and a little water. But if you take a look at the ingredients list of our hummus powder, you will quickly notice that there is no tahini. Or does it? Our answer: Sure, because hummus without tahini would certainly only be half as good. Tahini is basically a paste made from ground sesame seeds. So in order to offer you hummus in powder form, we simply added sesame flour to the mixture. With a little water, you would have your beloved sesame paste again, which makes the hummus perfect! You only need to add the olive oil and a squeeze of lemon juice when mixing to create an aromatic, creamy hummus according to the original recipe. Your guests will be thrilled!

Make your own hummus

Hummus now comes in all kinds of flavours: We spontaneously think of the popular variants with beetroot, pumpkin or wild garlic. But our sweet chickpea spread is also becoming increasingly popular. So why powder at all? It's simple: how many times do you leave hummus in the fridge for too long and it becomes inedible. And that's exactly why hummus powder is so incredibly practical! After all, the powder allows you to mix your hummus fresh every time and according to your personal needs. For one serving, simply mix 50 g of the powder with 60-65 ml of water to a homogeneous mass.
