Chocolatey chai cocoa with vegan cream topping

Baking / Cooking time:

15 minutes

The basis for this chocolatey, warming drink is the finest cocoa powder, oat drink and, of course, spices. But we go not just one, but two steps further. First, we make the chai cocoa even more intense thanks to dark chocolate. And once everything has simmered nicely, we top the drink with a vegan cream topping made from coconut milk. Your mouth is already watering? Then get to the recipe quickly!

Ingredients for
350 ml
Oat drink
2 tbsp.
Cocoa powder
1 tbsp.
Panels
50 g
dark chocolate
1
fresh ginger in slices
5 UNIT
Cardamom pods
2 UNIT
Carnations
1 tbsp.
Powdered sugar

Step 1/4

Put the oat drink, cocoa powder and panela in a pan and heat everything while stirring gently. Add the chocolate and spices and stir until the chocolate has completely melted. Psssst, if this is too time-consuming for you, you can also use 1/4 tsp of our speculaas spice instead of the individual spices.

Step 2/4

Now take the coconut milk out of the fridge and put only the solid part of the coconut milk in a bowl with the powdered sugar. Now beat both with a hand mixer.

Step 3/4

Next, remove the spices from the chai cocoa and divide your fragrant drink between two cups. Top the treat with the coconut cream and enjoy!

Step 4/4

If you don't drink the second cup for whatever reason, you can mix it with oatmeal and have super chocolatey, creamy overnight oats for your breakfast the next morning - a dream!
