Date coconut macaroons

These delicious coconut macaroons are sweetened with dates instead of refined sugar, giving them an aromatic caramel note.

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl.

Pit the Medjool dates and put them in a blender with the maple syrup and a little water if necessary until a homogeneous mixture is formed. Add the almond butter.

Mix the dry ingredients with the date mixture and form small macaroons.

Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat.
Step 5/7
Place the macaroons in the oven and bake for at least 15 minutes.

Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil over a bain-marie.
Step 7/7
Pour the chocolate over the coconut macaroons and leave everything to cool.
