Basic recipe for a smoothie bowl

Preparation time:

5 minutes

An ideal recipe that you can transform and upgrade as you wish! If you scroll through Instagram or Facebook, you will inevitably come across the food trend: the smoothie bowl. If you're wondering what it's all about and also want to dust off a great recipe, you've come to the right place. Good, because a smoothie bowl is basically a smoothie to spoon up. Your favorite ingredients are pureed in the most powerful blender possible. However, they are then not poured into a cup, but into a bowl and garnished with various toppings. If it is too runny, it will be difficult to spoon. For this reason, bananas are often used as a base, giving the dessert a creamy consistency after blending. Other suitable binding agents for various smoothie bowls can be chia seeds, oat flakes or a little flour (e.g. coconut flour).

Ingredients for
1 Units
Banane
250 g

Step 2/2

You can easily achieve Instagram suitability with beautiful toppings. Coquitos are particularly suitable for this - as you can see in the beautiful photo. But fresh berries, chia seeds, various nuts and dried fruit also add a nice finishing touch to the smoothie bowl.

Taking a quick food pic at the café, while moving the plates around to find the best natural lighting and perspective? For a person who lives for aesthetic food styling, that is simply undebatable! If she could, our content creator Artemis would turn nearly every cute visit to any vegan café into a huge food photography shoot, but of course she also doesn’t want to keep her friends and colleagues from digging into their cakes and coffees for too long. That’s why she reserves the more time consuming shoots for her home kitchen or the studio, where she creates super delicious and aesthetic recipe content for mainly the international Koro social channels.

Food and art also take up a huge part of Artemis’ personal life and she loves to share everything she creates and everything that excites her on her own Instagram and YouTube channel. Doesn’t matter if it’s illustrating, crocheting, cooking, baking or making and painting ceramics, name any creative project and Artemis is on board. And if then you have a soothing lofi-playlist running in the background and funny memes are exchanged in between as well, the absolute dream scenario for her has been achieved.
