You are looking at a fruit spread and not raspberry marmalade. This is because only spreads made from citrus fruits may now be called marmalades. Jams, on the other hand, must have a sugar content of at least 55%. However, since we prefer the mild and pleasant sweetness of raspberries and cane sugar instead of sugar overload, our jar contains 39% less sugar than is usual for jams. We are therefore proud of the name fruit spread: fruity, pleasantly sweet and wonderfully spreadable – just the way we like our raspberries!
