Couscous is made from grain, which is ground into semolina, moistened and then formed into small balls. In order to bring the oriental atmosphere into your own four walls and to get to know couscous in all its flavourful facets, you should follow a few tips when preparing it: Boil about 250 ml of water together with a teaspoon of salt and a tablespoon of olive oil or butter in a pot. As soon as it reaches a boil, remove the pot from the stove and stir the couscous into the boiling water. Leave the couscous to soak for 7 to 9 minutes until it has completely absorbed the water.
