Garlic Ginger Tofu

Delicious spiced tofu with fresh ginger flavor!

Ingredients for
1 Tsp.
Sesam
2 Tsp.
Hot chili sauce
3 UNIT
Garlic cloves
1 UNIT
Ginger
2 tbsp.
Strength
2 tbsp.
Soya Sauce
1 UNIT
Spring onion
50 ml
Water
1 Tsp.
Sesam

Step 1/3

Cut tofu in half, squeeze with kitchen towel and pluck into bite-sized pieces. Mix 1 tablespoon starch to the tofu and bake at 190°C hot air for about 20-30 minutes.

Step 2/3

For the sauce: mix 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons ahron syrup, chili sauce, 1 tablespoon vinegar and 1 teaspoon starch. Chop garlic and ginger. Slice the spring onion. Sauté garlic, ginger and spring onion with oil. Add the sauce and sauté a little until it becomes a thick sauce. Add water and simmer.

Step 3/3

Mix tofu and sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve with rice.
