Old but gold

Known as the original sesame type, the little grains have been used for thousands of years. The sesame plant is among the oldest plants in existence. Only the seeds are edible, and we love the plant for them. In contrast to white sesame, the black seeds have a somewhat spiced and stronger taste. We have a few sesame treats in our shop, such as tofu, tahini and  organic black sesame tahini. We also have a few more extravagant types of tahini, such as our tahini with cocoa and tahini with coconut. Try them now!

That special extra in your dishes

You can use the black seeds in countless ways: black sesame is not just beloved in Turkish cuisine, in kebabs, flatbread and pides, but it is also great for homemade cereal bars and biscuits. Sesame is also great to refine desserts such as panna cotta and for topping salads, smoothies and dressings such as hummus. Sushi can also be wonderfully garnished with a few sesame seeds, which give a flavour and visual boost. Buy our organic black sesame now!
