According to legend, the Guaraní used the plant before hunting rituals. How guarana is used

Whether you're working late or starting your day, guarana is a versatile addition to your routine. The powder releases its caffeine content gradually, which many prefer to the quick spike and crash from traditional sources. About 45 minutes after mixing your guarana drink, it begins to take effect. After five hours, most of the caffeine has left your system – at which point, it might be time for another cup.
