Buy tea

A cup of tea often works wonders. A thermos full of black tea makes the commute to work seem half as long. A cup of mate tea will help you shake off your midday lethargy, and a matcha with milk foam is the perfect companion for catching up with your best friends. You can buy tea for all these moments from us.

Do more than just drink tea

Our teas are a real highlight pure and unsweetened. However, you can also get creative with your tea preparation. There are numerous recipes for our teas: from iced mate to homemade iced tea and spoonable matcha with a green matcha-chia pudding.

Loose teas for the most intense flavour

In our shop, you will find loose teas as far as the eye can see. We don't think much of tea bags as you know them from the supermarket: the individually wrapped bags in paper produce a lot of rubbish, are also much too low in dosage and often contain tea of inferior quality. With us, you see what you get – and you can taste it, too. Our loose peppermint tea consists of large leaves from organic farming. You can already smell the intense aroma when you briefly open the package. And with us, you not only save on packaging waste: we skip several levels of trade with our bulk packs and pass this price advantage on to you. This makes drinking tea twice as much fun.

Organic teas

Whenever possible, we include organic teas in our range when they are available. You can order numerous green teas, matcha and other teas from organic farming from us. The highlights of our organic teas are as follows:

With our teas, it's always tea time for you

In our small online tea shop, you will find classic teas such as chamomile tea, but also rarities such as our kombucha starter set, which allows you to easily make your own kombucha. We are constantly expanding our range of teas so that you can keep up with all the tea trends in the future.

Wake-up drink in the morning

Are you looking for an alternative to morning coffee? Then simply brew yourself a green tea or black tea! Fun fact: roasted coffee beans contain up to 2% caffeine, while the dried leaves of green and black tea contain around 3% to 3.5%. This makes green and black teas ideal for starting the day with full power. Tea caffeine is released more slowly, which is why most people are less nervous from tea than from coffee.

Fruity and flavourful for any time of the day

However, drinking green tea and black tea with caffeine all day long is not a good idea – unless you want to be up in bed at night. Fortunately, you can also buy plenty of tea without caffeine from us. How about some classics, such as organic chamomile flowers and organic cut peppermint?

If you're a bit of a tinkerer, our kombucha starter set could be the perfect match for you. Never heard of it? Kombucha is fermented tea made from a scoby – which translates as a symbiosis of bacteria and yeast. With a little skill and patience, you can have a very special tea within a few days that was once called the ‘drink of immortality’ by the Chinese emperor. We can't guarantee you immortality, but we can guarantee you a unique taste experience.

Organic Matcha for drinking and eating

When you think of Matcha, you might think of hipsters with man buns and bright green chia puddings. Matcha, which comes from Japanese and translates as ‘ground tea’, is actually more than just a new-fangled trend: the history of the powder goes back to the 6th century. At that time, matcha was valued as a remedy in traditional Chinese medicine. Nowadays, you can get the green gold served as a matcha latte with almond milk foam in any fancy café. But you can also simply order high-quality matcha powder from us at a special price and drink this special tea at home anytime you want.

As true matcha fans, we offer two types of the green powder: Matcha Mizu in premium cooking quality and our king of green teas, Matcha Yujin in ceremonial quality – both finely ground and of course in organic quality. The hipster in the café around the corner will turn green with envy. You, on the other hand, can sip your tea in peace and quiet and enjoy our almonds in white chocolate with matcha powder on the side.

Tea as a gift

Once you've ordered enough tea for yourself, why not buy a pack of black Darjeeling tea or Sencha tea for your dearest friends? Tea is a great gift for anyone who needs to take a break from their daily routine. And thanks to our bulk packs, the tea will last for quite a while.

Treat yourself to a cup of tea for those aches and pains

Teas have basically no calories at all if you enjoy your infusion without milk, honey or sugar. This makes unsweetened teas a great alternative to mineral water and perfect for those who are otherwise a bit lazy when it comes to drinking. With our flavour-rich loose teas, you can cover your daily water requirement of 2 - 2½ litres in no time.

Tea calms you down...

Whether you have a cold, a stomach ache or you're just feeling a bit down: a cup of tea in your hand brings comfort to your home. A freshly brewed camomile tea is like a hug from the inside, bringing a warm and cosy feeling of care that will hopefully soon make your world look a little different.

All your tea questions

We want to give you all the information about our loose teas. If you have questions about a specific product, it's best to check the product specification. If you don't find what you're looking for there, please contact us by email or on social media and we'll be happy to answer all your questions.

Can I use tea to detox my body?

You may have seen it on Instagram or read about it on blogs: detoxing your body with tea to rid it of all toxins. However, there is no scientific evidence that tea really detoxifies the body. Furthermore, no reliable studies provide evidence that our body needs such a drainage at all. Nevertheless, many people find it easier to meet their daily water needs with tea. No wonder, because an infusion made from cut peppermint leaves tastes much more exciting than a glass of tap water. So, regardless of its effect on the body, a cup of tea is always a good idea.

Which tea is suitable as a coffee substitute?

Tea can not only replace coffee, but even beats the caffeine content: while roasted coffee beans contain up to 2% caffeine, the caffeine content in the dried leaves of green and black tea is over 3%. Green tea and black tea are therefore a great alternative to espresso, cappuccino and latte macchiato. Why not give it a try with our organic Sencha tea from Japan or our Darjeeling black tea.

How should I store my loose tea?

Attention all organisation fanatics: to make sure your teas knock everyone's socks off not only in terms of taste but also visually, be sure to check out our decorative ball mason jars. The sunny yellow chamomile tea is too pretty to be hidden away in the back corner of the pantry. The airtight seal means that the tea leaves retain their full aroma and still taste like freshly dried leaves even after months.

Our two matcha teas come to you in tins. You don't need to transfer the bright green powder, because these tins seal airtight and thus protect the aroma. Ideally, you should store Matcha Mizu in the refrigerator, where it will retain its full aroma for about a month after opening.

How long does tea keep?

To ensure that you are supplied with tea for the near future, we deliver camomile tea in a pillow-sized storage package. Don't worry, you won't have to drink only chamomile tea from now on: our loose teas stay fresh for several years, so you don't have to worry about expired tea. Teas generally have a long shelf life. Our mate leaves, for example, remain in perfect condition for at least two years from the date of production when unopened in their original packaging, ensuring the highest tea enjoyment. We always provide the exact shelf life information with the respective product.
