Your dog may also enjoy millet in moderation from time to time. Please consult your veterinarian for optimal preparation and quantity before serving your dog millet. We do not recommend our millet as bird food. What is suitable for birds, however, is the so-called foxtail millet. You should find this in a well-stocked specialty store for animals.

Store your millet in a cool, dry place to maximize shelf life. In the original sealed package, the product will keep for at least 12 months from the date of production.

How can I prepare millet?

The preparation is super easy: First wash the millet under cold water and then boil it with water, broth or milk (alternatives) in a ratio of 1:2. The cooking time is about five minutes. After that, let the grain swell for about half an hour and then you can turn it into curries, stir-fries, vegetable stir-fries, risottos or millet thalers. Millet is also a real treat when eaten sweet, for example in the form of millet porridge, oatmeal or in muesli.
