Question 1

How many calories are in an organic oat bar with cocoa?

Accepted Answer

One oat bar with cocoa weighs 60 g and has about 254 kcal. This means you can simply enjoy the bar in the morning as breakfast to go and get enough energy for a vital start to the day. You can also find the exact nutritional values for the muesli bar next to the product description.

Question 2

How can I make granola bars myself?

Accepted Answer

If you've nibbled your way through KoRo's world of bars and now want to get creative yourself, take a look at our recipe section. That's where we collect all of our favorite recipes so that our community serves up only the best of the best. We also have plenty of recipes for oat bars, chocolate bars and more bars. There are basically two ways you can make granola bars yourself. Either you can bake the dough in the classic way like a cookie, or you can opt for the "raw" version. Here, the ingredients remain raw and are only pureed in a blender. The standard ingredients for granola bars are dates and oatmeal. For fruit bars, you can add dried fruits of your choice, and if you're a nut fan, you shouldn't miss out on chopped almonds or cashews. The exact preparation can be found in one of our numerous muesli bar recipes. The advantage of making your own granola bars is that you can freely choose the ingredients. No more disappointment when you suddenly taste raisins when you take a bite. You can simply replace the honey in some recipes with agave syrup to make a vegan granola bar. Or stir in some protein powder if you want to eat the bar after exercise. Let your creativity run wild!

Question 3

What is the shelf life of the organic cocoa oat bars and what is the best way to store them?

Accepted Answer

Store the bars in a cool and dry place, away from light. Stored in these conditions, the bars last for at least 12 months in their closed packaging.
