Question 1

Is buckwheat in the puffed version healthy?

Accepted Answer

First and foremost, a balanced diet is healthy. Of course, you should make sure that you take enough vitamins and minerals. Our puffed buckwheat provides variety in the kitchen and is therefore definitely not a bad choice!

Question 2

Are the puffed buckwheat grains from KoRo organic?

Accepted Answer

But logical - we put our hands in the fire! Our grains come from organic cultivation: really organic!

Question 3

Is the puffed buckwheat from KoRo gluten-free?

Accepted Answer

Buckwheat is one of the so-called pseudo cereals and is naturally gluten-free. However, cross-contamination with gluten may have occurred in the manufacturing process - which is why we do not describe our buckwheat as gluten-free. For people with celiac disease, the pseudocereal is therefore not suitable.

Question 4

How to puff buckwheat?

Accepted Answer

Puffed grains have a very low weight and are easy to chew. When seeds are puffed, the water contained in the seeds evaporates explosively due to a sudden reduction in pressure. The hot, swollen starch of the grains thereby foams to many times its original volume and solidifies in this state.

Question 5

Did you sweeten the puffed buckwheat?

Accepted Answer

No - we have not! The product is made from 100% buckwheat, completely without additives.

Question 6

For what can I use buckwheat?

Accepted Answer

Question 7

What does the puffed buckwheat taste like?

Accepted Answer

The puffed version gives our buckwheat an airy, light texture and at the same time a crunchy bite. In general, buckwheat has a nutty note that can be transferred to the puffed variety.

Question 8

What are the nutritional values of the puffed buckwheat?

Accepted Answer
