Question 1

Can my baby consume this almond butter?

Accepted Answer

In general, and especially before the age of one, you should only add almond butter to your baby's diet after consulting your paediatrician. Even though almonds are not strictly speaking nuts, they are still considered allergens. And not all children can tolerate their relatively high calorie content. You should therefore not use more than 10g as a supplement to your baby's diet – and only after consulting your doctor.

Question 2

Can I consume this almond butter while pregnant?

Accepted Answer

Almond butter should be fine to eat in normal amounts when preganant. But, as always, check with your doctor if you have any questions or are unsure.

Question 3

How long does this almond butter keep?

Accepted Answer

You can always see how long a product will keep by checking the best-before date. This is printed on the packaging. After production, our cinnamon and vanilla almond butter can be stored in its original sealed jar for at least 9 months if stored correctly (in a cool, dry place). Some oil may settle on top of the almond butter – this is completely normal, just stir it well until it returns to a creamy consistency.

Question 4

How should I store this nut butter?

Accepted Answer

Before opening, it is best to store it in a cool, dry place. Once you have started enjoying the butter, you should keep it in the refrigerator.

Question 5

Is cinnamon and vanilla almond butter healthy?

Accepted Answer

We stay away from calling products healthy or unhealthy. The most important thing is to make sure you have a balanced diet. Balance is the key! Our almond butter with cinnamon and vanilla has 621kcal and 19g of protein per 100g. This makes it a good source of protein.

Question 6

Can I make my own almond butter?

Accepted Answer

You can! But we've done it all for you. Thanks to the value size, you'll save money and packaging waste. If your supply of KoRo almond butter has run out and you need a refill as soon as possible. Simply throw some peeled or unpeeled almonds into a powerful blender and make your own almond butter. You can also use our white almond butter or brown almond butter. Pro tip: if you order it in a tray, you are equipped for longer!

Question 7

What makes this almond butter so special?

Accepted Answer

Unlike many conventional almond or nut butters, our cinnamon and vanilla almond butter does not contain any added palm oil. Our almond butter doesn't need it and is spreadable without the addition of colourings or preservatives. In addition to delicious blanched almonds, this variety also has a hint of cinnamon and vanilla. Enjoyment guaranteed!
