Spreads – a must-have on the breakfast table

Where once only cheese, sausage and jam were to be found, a number of vegan and vegetarian alternatives have now crept in – and rightly so. Whether you are looking for sweet spreads, savoury spreads or delicious nut butters for your breakfast, you will find something for every taste and every occasion here!

Our vegetarian spreads contain no added sugar, but they still taste delicious – or perhaps because of that. The creamy consistency of our spreads is not affected by the fact that they are completely free from animal ingredients and are therefore vegan. Speaking of creamy consistency, we have another tip for you: as a special treat, KoRo also offers medium-hot mustard with no added sugar for sale. It's great on one or the other spread.

Other sandwich spreads: Our nut butters

But in our opinion, not only breads with savoury spreads belong on the breakfast board. You probably already knew – what would a tip from KoRo be without recommending the famous nut butters? The all-time favourite, peanut butter, is becoming increasingly popular with young and old alike. It is so beautifully creamy and tasty that the butter literally melts in your mouth. But our other varieties, such as hazelnut butter, almond butter (brown or white) or cashew butter, are sure to make any foodie's heart beat faster. And the best thing about them is that they do not contain any added flavourings, colourings or preservatives, or even palm oil. This also applies to the star among all spreads and nut butters: The organic date and hazelnut spread. Because the golden rule is: chocolate always works! And this rule should not stop at your breakfast board either. While the paste consists of only three ingredients – dates, hazelnuts and cocoa – it is wonderfully creamy and can be enjoyed in many ways.
